PAPER 

 

Elrhino dung paper is made by the families who live around the forests of Assam. We engage indigenous folks to collect, process and press elephant and rhino dung, all by hand and combine it with forest materials and cotton rags. What comes out the other end is paper with as much character as the hands that helped make it.

 

 

OUR TRADITIONAL PULP PROCESSING TECHNIQUES ENSURE THOROUGH SANITIZATION,

MAKING OUR FINAL PRODUCT COMPLETELY SAFE AND ODOUR-FREE

 

 

We never use bleach, acids, alkaline solutions or any toxic chemicals to make our paper.

Instead, we use basic bonding agents such as alum and rosin, along with water soluble salt

dyes for colouring.
